Super Rant - Called AOL for Technical Assistance - Called India...
I'm in a rage. Needed technical assistance and was speaking to a gal
named Mary with an Indian accent. I asked her if she's speaking to
me from India and she said "yes". I am so pissed at Corporate
America I could scream, scream, scream. Our economy is dying but
Time/Warner AOL office help is sitting in India getting paid
probably a dollar an hour. I live in Illinois...

Our country is going down - I don't know what will save it.. The
super rich are killing America or getting just what they want. The
very rich and the very poor, who will be willing to work for pennies,
in order to survive.

1. They cannot help themselves.
Remember the expeirment where the monkeys who had eq1ual access to cocaine and food kept pushing the cocaine button to the exclusion of the food/water button until they died?

Same principle, and we are ALL those monkeys.

The rich probably intinctively know that they are killing the Goose that Laid the Golden Egg, but the pleasure rush of crushing hippies, environmentalists, feminists, labor unions, the Democratic Party, rational discourse, the Formerly Free Press, and God knows what else is just so much fun, and keeps delivering them cash like a slot machine, that they simply cannot stop.

Why does history repeat itself?

Because WE cannot stop repeating it.

3. American workers are empowered to work for a globally competitive wage!

It is the free market system at work!

Americans have the freedom to be part of the very capitalism our troops are getting a meal every day to defend!

6. BS
This is not free trade this is corporate greed that has taken its work force overseas not trading of resources between countries.

7. You're correct, it is corporate greed, but Clinton enabled it
By opening the door with NAFTA, followed with FTAA, GATT, and H-1B visas Clinton enabled this whole outsourcing to India scenario. Hate to burst your bubble, but Clinton really wasn't good for this country. Don't believe me, go read Kevin Phillips "Wealth and Democracy".
