An extraordinary appeal to Americans from the Bush administration for money to help pay for the reconstruction of Iraq has raised only $600 (£337), The Observer has learnt.

3. In a fair world, this would be satire.
This is pathetic. They (our admin.) loots us, then ask us for more, and then suggest many re-building plans may not be seen without more money.

Lost billions? at this point with no accountability, no one pounding them for an answer.. hello??? do we have leaders? Even DLC leaders shouldn't find it "risky, for their own brown-nosing reputations" to ask them to account for the damn money. They would have the truer conservative they could buddy up with, if they so desire.. after all, even real conservatives are spitting mad that this country's debt is out of control.. (confirmed by Greenspan yesterday).

I'm a stickler.. I'd have these people show a receipt for everything they bought, if they didn't, then they'd have to reimburse the money.
Out of their own pockets. They can't account for OUR money, then they pay it back. Really not a brain teaser.
