WaPo Express today puts warmonger rally on front page
The Post Express today put a pic of the pro-war rally on the front page and gave them an article in the middle of the paper.

The 100,000+ March of the Sane was ignored except as a side note in the last third of the story.

Liberal media my witchy behind.

1. How many people do you know who saw Fahrenheit 9/11 said:
"I had no idea there were protests at Bush's inauguration."

Where was the media for that story?

Crowd Turns Out to Defend War Effort
By Emma Vaughn, Times Staff Writer

WASHINGTON — Supporters of the war in Iraq, concerned that Saturday's antiwar demonstrations might hurt morale among U.S. troops, staged their own rally Sunday — taking digs at critics of the Bush administration, including Cindy Sheehan, who last month staged a vigil outside the president's ranch in Crawford, Texas.

"Our sons are there to try and defeat these evil ideologues," said Robert Hemenway, whose son, Navy Chief Petty Officer Ronald Hemenway, died in the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the Pentagon. "If we don't stand up for this country, then who will?"

Otherwise, he told the crowd of about 1,000, "our sons have died in vain."

A large patchwork American flag made by children of soldiers from Ft. Benning, Ga., was the backdrop to a stage where speakers hailed U.S. efforts in Iraq and denounced those who were calling for President Bush to bring the troops home now.

3. Hey Witch - check Sunday's WaPo
They were all over the march -front page, human interst stories, pictures, etc.

I hate to do it, but I have to give them a thumbs up for covering the REAL patriotic march in great depth - and pretty honestly, as well.

5. This truly pissed me off on my commute in...

I had to put the paper down. There was barely any mention of Saturday's march. The actual Post did a decent job yesterday, but I thought the express would recap the entire weekend's events. It was disgusting... especially how they framed it as a rally for the troops. Hell, everyone supports the troops! The march on Saturday was not anti-troop. They need to call these "rally for the troops" events what they really are - PRO-WAR rallies.
