Appleton (WI) readers grade * (Cranial Rectumitus Alert!)
http://www.wisinfo.com/postcrescent/news/archive/opinion_22729411.shtml

There are some gems in here. it deserves a read, but here is my favorite idiot:

"I can state unequivocally that George W. Bush is the greatest president of this millennium. I am proud that I voted for him twice, and am confident that I — and the country — made the correct decision both times. President Bush has had to deal with two catastrophes that no president before him could comprehend — 9-11 and Katrina. Reaction to the two indicate how divided this country has become. Americans united behind the President after 9-11. Anti-Bush sniping began before Katrina completed her path of destruction. That is truly sad. I can understand opposing the man’s views, but I do not comprehend the hatred Democrats display. I am not ready to label him a great president at the moment. But I am quite confident that some of my fellow writers will reveal their irrational, vitriolic hatred of the president by condemning the man and everything he has done."

(Discolsure: I'm embarrassed to say some of these knuckleheads live within my area code.)

1. "greatest president of this millennium..."
"...I am not ready to label him a great president at the moment."

Somebody just suffered a buffer overflow.

2. Technically, they can make this claim.
Similarly, we can make the claim that he is the biggest idiot of this century, the dumbest president of this millennium, etc.

3. Appleton, WI--the birthplace of the John Birch Society.
It's not a hotbed of liberalism in that area.

4. My hatred of the Chimperor may be vitriolic, but it's by no means
irrational. He's earned every ounce of it--in spades. Even if he wasn't a radical-right ideologue who wanted to undo every social and political advance this country has made since Herbert Hoover, lying the country into the Iraq quagmire is an unforgivable sin. For that alone he deserves to spend the rest of eternity on the receiving end of a hot-tar enema.

5. I could have sworn that we just started a new millenium in
2001 so to say that he is the greatest is about as smart as he is. Sounds like someone took the short bus to school.

6. With Bush as president
it just SEEMS like forever. The 21st century has sucked so far.
