Poll question: A Bush supporter asked me last night |
|
Edited on Mon Sep-26-05 12:08 PM by Horse with no Name
If I would bet $100 that Bush wouldn't finish his term if she bet he would. Should I take her up on her bet?

1. Is she wagering that he will finish and you are wagering he won't? |
|
I wouldn't take that bet. He'll finish. Then Frist will be your next president.

11. No. Frist will be "investigated", declared innocent and found to be a |
|
GREAT candidate for president.

7. Frist; what happened to Hatch, Lott, and Newt? |
|
Have we fixed the vote yet? Are we even working on fixing the vote?

that's too hard to answer... One one hand, he SHOULDN'T finish out his term... on the other hand I'm way too jaded to think that the teflon prince is gonna get what's coming to him.

12. I would take that bet on 10-1 odds. |
|
I think Bush is going to be under pressure to resign within a year, based on two calamities:
1. He is going to pull out of Iraq in total defeat. 2. He is going to be personally implicated in the Plame Affair.

14. You are a bigger risk taker than I am. I think it's possibe |
|
but not probable that bush won't finish his term. If he can hold on until after the midterms without a change in the house leadership, he's home free.

10. i'd have to ask for odds... |
|
1) repug legislature 2) hell, it's rare for ANY president to be impeached 3) he's well into his term...if things wait very long he'll be out before he's impeached
ask for 5:1 odds...then you could only lose $20 to her $100. can you lose $20?

She'll be needing it. Thanks to Bushco's oil industry buddies, she can use her $100 for a fill-up in a couple weeks.

19. We can only hope. However, since they have control |
|
both houses in Congress they will never vote to impeach him, even if he openly murdered someone. He is their god.
