She wanted to be arrested. She did what she knew was going to get her arrested. I don't see the big deal here.

If the police had ran into the protest and specifically arrested her, that'd be one thing. But she and those with her deliberately crossed the street to the White House, knowing they were going to be arrested. The cops just did their job.

So what's the big deal? In the end, this is good for the cause. I didn't see any coverage of the protest on CNN this weekend, but Sheehan's arrest made it to Wolf Blitzer's show. And despite minimal coverage, the story was their teaser through two commercial breaks, which shows you that they know what people want to hear about.

at the White House. That's what they're all being arrested for. I mean, I understand the law, it being something of a safety issue for whomever may be president. And I understand breaking the law, too -- civil disobedience and I are dear old friends.

I'm just pointing out that the cops are doing their job, Cindy and those with her are doing there's. And the OP, somehow equating the arresting officers with the Bush administration, is just a bit confusing to me.
