probably barely 50. How many people can line a city block single file? That's how many counter protesters were there.

2. Where's he get that from? Did he name a source?
Even the police (who are famously conservative about these things) unofficially put the number at 150,000.

Which was actually an about 50% increase, which becomes 14.7% after correcting for inflation.

9. reminds me of that old jewish dad talking to his son.
(insert heavily jewish accent here)

"$100? you dare ask me for $95? Do you have any idea what you can buy for $90? If you only knew how long it took me to earn my first $85 when I walked to work through the heat and the sun and the snow and the rain. $80 is a lot of many, and that is some chutzpah you have asking for $75. So, my son why don't you tell me how you are going to waste $65 dollars of my hard earned money, on something that you will probably regret after you realize the full worth of $60 dollars. Just ask your mother how much $55 dollars means today and why $50 dollars is so much money."

"So, my son, tell your old man. What were you going to do with the $35 dollars you asked for? Tell you what I'll do, I'll lend you $5 and let you pay me back in three, not two weeks."

19. 50K would occupy 1/2 of a circle around 378 ft diameter, see my post #17
I do some simple math in post #17.
A football field is 100 yards = 300 ft long, the circle alone is WAY longer that a football field.
2 people in a square yard and 50,000 would occupy 1/2 a circle 378 feet in diameter.
That circle is WAY more than 378 feet, AND the crow spills out along the walk/road drawfing those in the circle.

Thats where we come in. We need to email that picture to everyone we know. We need to print copies of it and leave it all over our towns. We need to send it to every media outlet we can. It is our job to get the proof out there and show the world what liars these punks are.

17. 15,000 in LosAngeles, per the police. I was in L.A., small patch of the DC
imagery!!
Math: 2 persons per square yard(9 sq feet) if shoulder to shoulder.
1)50,000 people would occupy 225,000 sq ft.
2) looks like 1/2 of the circle in image occupied
3) double circle AREA 450,000 sqFt = 378 ft diameter
Conclusion A. 50K people occupy 1/2 circle 378 ft dia.
4) Circle in image is WAY over 378 ft. diameter.
5) People occupy'g outside circle, along road DWARF the number in cir.
Conclusion B. 50K is gross underestimate.
Simple math/geometry people.

make it to the Navy Memorial.

That crowd stretches all the way back to 16th and Penn. Look at the road to the right of the park.

26. If we go with Sparkman's estimate of 4.5 sq ft per person.
Then the ellipse, which is about 1000 ft in diameter:
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Washington,+DC&spn=0.009376,0.016838&hl=en

Would have an area of (500*500)*3.1416=785,400 sq ft.

785,400 / (4.5 sq ft / person) = 174,533 persons in the ellipse if it was fully occupied.

This should give a good frame of reference how many people are in that picture.

35. From this photo

it's pretty easy to calculate the people within the enclosed area.

I come up with around 235,000 (not counting the stragglers going up and down constitution avenue).

I used google planimeter to draw up an area of the ellipse, mostly
in the shape of a "peace sign". The area clearly covered by people
looks to be about 10.81 acres. That's 470,883 sq ft.

Now, assuming that EVERYONE is taking at least 2 sq feet (this crowd
could be more packed in than that, but I'm guessing the average
distance between "rows" is greater and the distance of people
standing next to each other is less. 2 sq ft can't be too far off.

That comes to about 235,000 people. Not 100,000... and not 500,000.

And certainly not 50,000.

And I'm making no allowance for the people still on the street, just
those in the ellipse and in the one area on the side between the
ellipse and the avenue.

ANY guestimate would reveal that 50,000 is ridiculously low, yet the repuke professionals can't even get into the ballpark. Honesty is the best policy, and we have come to expect the worst policy from the RW lying machine. Good job!
