1. Yep, you got it.
First they ignore you...

and now they're not ignoring us anymore...

2. Makes you sit up and take notice,
How has this been allowed to happen. We are not a nation of cruel people. How have we been so ignorant that we have allowed a bunch of crooked, power hungry politicians control us. I am ashamed. The picture of Kent State and My Lai go back to my younger days. I prayed then that it would never happen again. How wrong was I then , and how sad I am now.

3. The world is watching, but does not care anymore
They have become collective couch potatoes watching the slow-motion self-destruction of America with a mixture of ennui and quiet resignation. Don't expect a few media images to sway the rest of the world. We're gonna have to take care of this problem ourselves.

9. The key, as I said earlier, is...
...we have to take care of this ourselves. We can't rely on the outside world anymore - all we have is each other.

Make no mistake. I'm in this for the long haul.

4. What is it about this country that we can't do better than elect...
the two clowns in the last photo. There are so many good, smart, honorable people in this country and yet we only come up with people like the two in the last photo.

7. Well, we had a chance with Howard Dean...
...until the DLC shut him down in Iowa and New Hampshire.

Our Democratic leaders cannot afford to be a circular firing squad anymore. If we can unite, why can't they?
