Seriously, WTF is wrong with * ??
Well i just watched a clip on CNBC where * said today that we need to start conserving energy. * could barely speak, and he would lose his train of thought in between sentences.

When the hell is someone in MSM going to go after this??

This man either needs a CT Scan.....or a pee test NOW.

stuttering and forgetting what he was saying.

7. my main concern is that here we are with an energy crisis and bush
half heartedly and weakly says--oh by the way--we need to save gas. No leadership in his voice and no concervation plan--just an afterthought!

6. Conserving energy isn't in the bush plan.
Conservation is seen as a recipe for slow economic growth. The idea goes back to the reagan administration. No wonder he said it so half heartedly,

9. I am not going to make a joke
like my first impulse because I think this is dead serious.

This man SAILED through a whole lot of stuff and looked tanned and rested (9/11, the election...)

But I agree he looks very bad right now. He is puffy and slow.

My first thought is that he is on some sort of antidepressant but I have to wonder whether that could really be kept secret. My next thought is a tranquilizer like Ativan.

If he were really drinking again I don't think being hung over would affect his train of thought. Now being hammered while he speaks might!

Coke would have him manic.

It might be a simple as a cold and a decongestant which will bring ME down.

How long will it be before someone reports on this on the MSM?

Maybe it is just too many pretzels? Okay, sorry...said I wouldn't make jokes. It really is a serious subject. This guy has the button finger and access to "the football." Personally, I'd prefer him healthy and sober while he's in office.

17. He was trying to avoid using the word "conservation"...
That word is taboo to the bushoids. Cheney told us years ago that conservation was cool if you're into it, but had no real value (I'm paraphrasing the big dick, but that's essentially what he said).

They like to feature themselves as conservative, but there is absolutely nothing conservative in their agenda.

It's the "fool me once" effect. No matter what, he just can't get the proper words out, because it makes him look bad. In this case, he'll look bad to the oil company execs.

I usually reach for the remote when I hear his weaselly voice but couldn't get to it fast enough as he was trying to speak. It was amazing... he did sound completely out of it, whatever the cause, he's done for.

22. The net effect of over twenty years' relentless bludgeoning of his brain..
with liquor and drugs, to sort-of borrow a line from Iggy Pop. And it certainly seems plausible that some of the effects of alcohol-induced brain damage might be so slight as to be unnoticeable, save when the individual in question is under stress (as Bush has certainly been of late). And knowledge among his handlers of his limitations and incapacities when faced with stress would certainly explain why such care is taken to stage-manage and choreograph his public appearances.

There are REAL practitioners of Vodoo (Voudon) in New Orleans, and I wouldn't want to piss them off. Just Sayin'... :tinfoilhat: There was a thread about this awhile back.

I think in recent pictures his head looks like it's too small for his body. Maybe it's just that chicken-neck, but it puts me in mind of that short story by Stephen King, "Thinner", where the main character pisses off a Gypsy, who keeps showing up and pointing his finger at him and saying, "Thinner" and the guy just keeps losing weight....and losing weight....

edit> "losing" weight, not "lossing".

27. What the sky shows: Saturn on Bush's natal Mercury
Edited on Mon Sep-26-05 07:35 PM by SpiralHawk
Saturn just crossed Bush's Ascendant, is now conjunct his Mercury, and will soon squat for a long stretch on his Pluto.

What's it all mean Mr. Natural? Quite a bit, actually. (Scientific Fundamentalists are invited to bear in mind that most astrologers are not into claims of cause and effect. The sky signs are metaphors with meaning. They can be read and misread. Free will trumps all. Here's one reading of the metaphors.)

Suffice to say -- in the most non-technical terms available -- that karma, responsibility and weight are bearing upon Bush from now (starting just before Katrina in late August) until at least May, 2006. This is First House stuff, so it's out there for everyone to see -- not hidden away as usual in his 12th House.

Mercury symbolizes the mind and communication, so we see that, metaphorically speaking, the rings of Saturn have wrapped themselves around Bush's mind and tongue. He looks tired because he is tired. He feels -- again metaphorically speaking -- the weight of Saturn in his life.

Soon enough this Fall the planet Saturn will lumber forward another couple of degrees through the Zodiac to about 10 degrees of Leo, and then park on Bush's Pluto. Pluto's all about power. Karma meets power. Should be interesting. I hope the USA can survive his "leadership."

After having consulted the STARS and the Mighty Mighty Prophecy Beans, I hereby proclaim (with my Usual Infallibility TM) that there are few sunny days ahead for the Nation's First AWOL Appointee.

Karma's a TOTAL bitch (if you haven't been TRUE).
