Smackdown on "Arrested Development"
Talking about how the dad didn't realize that he was doing business with Saddam (they showed a pic of the two of them shaking hands...Saddam was wearing a BBQ apron). Then someone said "A picture like that could ruin your career!" Jason Bateman replied, "Not in every case," as the famous pic of Rummy shaking hands with Saddam flashed on the screen!
Great show...I resisted, but now I'm hooked.

That's the most blatant thing I've heard since Homer Simpson's "Commander Cuckoo-Bananas!"

2. Arrested Development is currently my 2nd favorite US show
(my first being Curb Your Enthusiasm)

The first season was a slow burner - sometimes plodding, but you were guaranteed at least one good laugh per episode. However we're currently about 10 episodes into season two and its become a much tighter, better paced and thoroughly engaging show. I'm SO pleased that it's got a third season and that by all accounts its still on form.
