I went with my 10 year old nephew. It was a great civics lesson for him. What a great day!

2. Big kick! I was in Denver. The speakers were great!

And the crowd was fired up! The Denver Post said about 1000, which puts the attendance at about 1500.

We had about 500 in Birmingham Alabama, too. (The South):think:
Sponsored by United for Peace and Justice. A lot of vets from Vietnam and Iraq. Vietnam amputee spoke from his chair.
It was a March and Rally with a good turnout in spite of the news or newspapers refusing to advertise the event. Most of the public didn't know.

Betcha didn't see the pictures from there. I posted them Sunday, got a couple of nice remarks and it disappeared forever.

We're trying (here), too. Good for you and Denver !

There are no words to describe the DC March....the pictures and "Spirit of the People" take my breath and make me jump for joy.
