7. New Year's Eve is nice but I'd push the State of the Union.

1 - Chimpy, Congress, Supreme Court & flunkies will be in town. Can't run and hide - none of them.

2 - Make them try to navigate through 500,000 protesters - think it would get the attention of everyone running in November 06.

3 - Would totally overwhelm Chimpy's lies of the day in his speech that night. MSM could not ignore.

State of the Union sounds perfect.

I want to see another protest. I didn't get to go to this one - I was so bummed! And I think the more the better, I think it is helping tremendously.
But I do have two questions about the State of the Union idea. Would they even allow a protest permit on the day of the SOTU? I could see them denying it, but I can also see them allowing it and using it to their advantage somehow, to make us look bad. I'm thinking of soemthing like provocateurs in the crowd starting trouble. We know those type of things happened in the 60's with Tricky Dick. *&Co make him look like a cute puppy.
The worse things get for this crowd, the more dangerous they will become.
This is why IMHO we need to step up our efforts, the protests are getting notice (slowly) and as there are more, they will get more notice. Hopefully, anyway. I remember in the 60's that stuff did get coverage, I can remember actual protest leaders getting interviewed. We're not there yet really, but we need to get there.

What we need at our next protest is a MSM imbed!!!

18. I suggested SOTU yesterday in a thread. There are plenty of

concerns for a protest march on the same day as the State of the Union but I don't think we should let the problems keep us from doing something significant that day. It has the makings of a perfect storm. Everybody in town for Chimpy's "big" night along with half a million people tasked to present another message. It would throw the fear of God into everyone running for re-election in the mid-terms. That sounds more than just wonderful, it sounds effective.

If we could pull the same numbers (or more!)that showed up Saturday on the same day as the SOTU does anyone really think that the police could arrest everyone? Permit or not it could still be done with those numbers.

Of course, Chimpy could jerk around the date or outright cancel - but it is still a win-win for us and a big fat zero in the lost column for a pseudo president who bragged about his "mandate." The State of the Union message was canceled or moved due to protesters. Priceless. Think about him trying to do anything with a Congress that has been put on notice - because that is who we would be addressing with a march. Not Commander Über Loon, he is a lame duck but the other guys really like to save their own asses and will immediately stop taking the White House's calls.

There are several considerations - weekday(?), weather, permits, etc. But we need to move on the most advantageous day for a protest and not just settle on a day that sounds good. JMHO.

There would be no great fuss if bush turned this into a massacre of these people like Kent State. He has already got away with mass murder and left thousands to die right here in the south! When will this nation REALLY do something? Will it be before or after citizens are dead in the streets because they DARED to defy his glorious dictatorship! He has proved his ugly power and doesn't even deny it!
All he ever needed was a controlled congress and supreme court and he now has that. Mission complete! Only another nation stepping in to help the "still free" in this country to take back control, can it ever happen! It has to be a better form of government so this will never happen again. When bad things happen, they need to be changed, and the bad need to be destroyed just like he said about Sadam!

10. A national strike

I hear through the grapevine that there will be a national strike in December. NO school, no offices open, no stock exchange, no stores open (only emergency rooms, fire depts etc), no airport handling etc. (now Bush is going to get all worried).
