Remember when some Idiot said...
"The Democrats might be more concerned about beating Bush than us winning the War on Terror"

Isn't it possible that the RW'ers were more concerned about giving Bush 4 more years than telling the truth, being accountable to the people, and winning the war in Iraq?

1. Don't remember anyone specificaly saying that, but
I remember hearing BS talking points like that all over the place.

And you are exactly right.

Moreover, Bush was more concerned with being re-elected than he was with the war on terror. And he started the fucking war.

2. This is an ongoing tactic
Bush's performance doesn't lend itself to an active defense. Frankly he's been terrible. So they want to make the discussion about us rather than him. Instead of talking about how his plans really are working out great (which sin't believable) they talk about how crazy we are and how driven by hatred.

That's why the term Bush-Hater is so effective.

4. "Bush-hater" is becoming a majority demographic.
It loses its pejorative character when most people are proud to be Bush-haters.

3. ... or even win war on terror. The lack of preparedness is terrifying.
