I need Iraqi war stats

I'm particularly looking for the number of suicides in the military.

(or one) that are after they come home?
A DUer posted here the other day about having to go with her neighbor to ID her son's body. He was home on leave and shot himself, IIRC.

I haven't heard of any others that were after they got home, but hey, it's early. (So sad. So, so sad.)

2. I don't think they list them as suicides.

They fall into the category with "non-hostile gunshot" deaths. From what I've seen, I'd put the number at around 15. This comes from reading local articles about the deaths of individual soldiers. You can look through the lists here.

good link. Surprisingly, the military has owned up to 9 suicides, more than I would have expected - and less than the actual number, I feel sure.

I know there was a woman recently who died of a non-combat gunshot wound to the head.
