papers in their front seats or parents, other family members or kids in the service.

I was walking across campus this evening and saw a young, male freshman from my class with a shiny new hummer with a the red, white, and blue freedom isn't free sticker. Arrrrrrgggg!

2. even worse are those
that read: POWER OF PRIDE and then have a picture of a flag. I see those all the time and just find them offensive. I'm not even sure why the bug me as much as the do...maybe it's the arrogance...I don't know. But I LOATHE them.

7. I never met a rich kid during my two years in the Army.
When I was drafted during Vietnam, all the rich boys were in the Guard or had their rich daddy bail them out with a good medical excuse (Limbaugh). Jack Kemp was in such bad health, the draft board gave him a 4-F. He could play NFL football though. Saxby Chambliss (spelling ?) from Georgia had such terrible health problems, it was simply impossible for him go through Army training. However, he had no problem jogging, playing tennis, and playing golf at his country club.
