That's what we were hit with today. Tell me that W and the Republicans haven't lowered our standard of living. Our discretionary spending power has been decimated. The poor and those on fixed incomes have been decimated. Now tell me, how the GOP is considered so Christian as they do away with our middle class and further impoverish our poor for the VERY basics of life.

The Republicans would rather histrionically defend their president than demand accountability as to why he let our country go to hell.

1. Thank god that those things aren't figured into the
"core rate of inflation". Otherwise we would really have a mess on our hands wouldn't we? People would really be starting to have trouble making ends meet. I'm glad they are watching out for us.

3. Oh, here comes more. We are now pre charged for our sewer
usage, yes I have paid till Dec. I have not followed up yet, by calling to find out the rational. Think about it, we now pre pay our cable bill for tv and internet (if you have it here in NJ), sewer etc. If you die, best you have all you pre paids on paper, or the corps. are going to make a killing!

This adds into the 100's of dollars. How is it legitimate to have to pay for yet unused things. Can VISA bill me for possible charges.
Time to buckle up, and crack down on the abuses.

And, if you think I am kidding, look at your bills. To me this is illegal but it is happening in every industry!

4. Oh, C'mon The Economy Is Booming
Home Depot, Exxon/Mobil, Wallyworld...those stocks couldn't be performing hot enough. Sadly I know people who think this way. I confronted one person who bitched about paying nearly $50 to fill his beast and he then laughed it off saying how he made back the 50 when the stock went up a point that morning. They don't see it as human...just numbers and winners and losers.

There's also the mantra within that coven that if you're having financial troubles, it's your own fault. This is the cult of irresponsibility...deny all and blame others. It's worked for years and they're accustomed to having some Democrat or other demon to cast their woes upon.

This is going to be a cold, long winter for a lot of people. But will they find a voice to speak up...or will it be a conconfony of different interests and agendas...with no real place to focus all that anger and frustration. We shall see.

5. Ok today I went to get dinner
some turkey, some vegies and some teriyaki... due to the cost of fuel I paid over 22 bucks for that...

Prices of basic foods are going up by orders of magnitude, and I am starting to buy lots of pasta and other cheap things... why? I need to make sure we eat...

And why are they going up? We all know why... gas is going up, so the truckers need to charge more to deliver and it is passed down to us

6. Well, I think we should follow the EXCELLENT example that our
wonderful compassionate conservative leader has set for us by "conserving" our gas and not taking helicopter rides to our air force one' and flying all over the gulf region and driving our suv's all over the place just so people will think we "care":eyes:

7. I would not mind if he flew on AF 1 all over the place
if he used that plane for what it was designed for, and paid for by us the taxpayers, a command center... but on 9.11 bush was hiding.. when katrina hit he was eating cake

9. You miss what I mean
the capabilities of AF 1 regarding a national command center almost replicate the crisis room the WH... they HAVE the capabilites to run any emergency from that plane, and if used properly it CAN be an asset.

The problem is the bivet has not done any of that... on 9.11 he did not have to go to any military base, he could have staid up, refueled and taken charge... that means doing what he was elected to do... but that is another ball of wax

10. Wow, you guys totally missed my post. Have you ever looked at
what you are pre paying? It boggles my brain that you all just side stepped my post. How can we be charged for that which we haven't used? Oh, in case it hasn't hit you yet, imagine your bills being doubled in one month, then imagine, those who have less!

If it hasn't come, it is on the way!

14. Standards of living
fall everytime a Repug Prez gets elected, or a Repug majority gets the congress.

Unless, of course, your among the ruling class, the executive class or are a good old boy of the same.
