She DID.
They're trying to show that even though they were included, there was a reason they were left out of GETTING any of the assitance that was asked for.

2. Also Brownie was a crony who explicitely denied partisanship in his
"apology" yesterday, saying that it was just coincidence Louisiana's governor was a Dem....blah, blah.

When a neo-con crony is so explicit about Democrats, you know to just take the opposite of what they say.

8. IT IS MORE THAN JUST 3 PARISHES!!!!
I posted on a previous link an copy of the 2004 red/blue voting by parish; and a list of parishes covered by * emergency declaration. Guess which parishes were left off * list???

every single parish that voted blue in the last election was omitted from * list.

Including the previously blue(turned red in a bitter election) 3rd congressional district.

don't have the link but search on my name.

18. Yes, I know. I was talking about the second, more specific letter.
The first letter covered the entire state and that should have been the end of it.

9. Blanco included ALL OF LOUISIANA in her request. It was the shrub
that left those three parishes out. Blanco dotted all of her i's and crossed all of her t's.

Brown can be prosecuted for lying under oath.

11. Randy Rhodes was talking about this in detail yesterday
Blanco declared a state of emergency for the ENTIRE STATE of LA. In a second letter, she outlined exactly which parishes would be affected and how.

Bush sent a letter back, accepting the state of emergency and mentioning specific areas, but left out 3 parishes, including Orleans.

Now, it seems those exact 3 parishes are the ones that vote Democratic.

16. Good one...
Now it's getting someone to do it - maybe Aaron Broussard?

What we should be charging them with is treason.

19. Hartmann needs to do his homework: 2 of those parishes vote heavy Repub..
....60-70% Republican in 2000 and 2004. They both voted around 60% Republican in 1988 and 1992. Only in 1996 did they vote Dem by a fairly slim margin.
