For the 500th time, he came on TV to say the same thing about what we are fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq and attempting to put the people's attention back on his "war on terror". Because the war on terror has been good to him. It has been "vevy, vevy good" he might say. But, those were the good old days. He's living in the past. He cannot revive those times. The world has changed . Our country has changed. The people have changed. If he fails to see that, he will find himself in corner whispering to himself. Either he changes, or he becomes irrelevant.

The law of diminishing returns on this puppy have long since worn out its effectiveness as a means to enhance this regime and make it look strong and popular. Instead, this tactic now is used to divert attention or interupt the corporate media.

Note how they trotted out this strawman to drown out Gov. Blanco's testimony from being broadcast live and allowing the corporate media to edit the story and have their spin in place before the Governor's comments are heard.

On the upside...if there are people listening to this bullshit, they're probably getting more pissed. More circle jerking by a group of liars who just dig the hole deeper everytime they bring this issue out. New Orleans still shows how really vulnerable this country is.
