Veterans and the Families of Vets should be in charge of the anti-Iraq War
movement.

One of the most moving things I saw at the protest was a Iraq War Veteran, (he looked about 19) in a wheel chair. He was paralysed. I saw him bee line over to the 40 freepers, I didn't stick around to hear what he would say, but the look on his face was one that said he was about to give those ignornant freepers a piece of his mind.

I want to know why can't Veterans for Peace and Cindy's group be in charge of the anti-Iraq War protests?

ANSWER can get a booth, but they sure don't get stage time.

I want flags, soldiers, and middle America to be invited into the movement. They already agree with us, why the hell not?

2. Bug Springsteen and Green Day to play the show
Try to get Hollywood more involved.

Jon Stewart is as mainstream as they come, his critiques of the rally were dead on, and as someone who marched this weekend he echoed thoughts that many of us on the ground were thinking.

The Anti-War movement must develope some political savvy.

3. Nobody sould be "in charge" of the anti-war movement.
Nobody should be able to dictate who is, or who is not, "acceptable".

BTW I'm a vet - which doesn't give me (or any other vet) any more sayso about war than anyone else.
