DeLay speaking to the press again, now
Edited on Wed Sep-28-05 03:16 PM by highplainsdem
Said Earle's indictment was a "predetermined campaign." Says he expects this indictment to be dismissed. Says this is about driving a wedge in the GOP's "ability to lead this nation." And "if the Democrats think we're going to go crawl in a hole and not accomplish our agenda, I just wish they'd been a fly on a wall" to see the Republicans come together. Talking more about their agenda, their "very bold and aggressive agenda," and he says he'll help acccomplish that agenda. Says the Democrats can "play the politics of personal destruction" all they want to, and it won't affect Congress.

10. He is worried
This is completely opposite of his early defiant rhetoric. He is stammering, sweating, nervous and completely off message. I think he made a few calls and knows he is f*ckd. I bet one of his buddies facing 99 yrs rolled over on him.
