problem with fema giving churches money. |

the church money is all contributions. the church has no money of its own, its non profit. many recent contributions were specifically given to aid the hurricane victims. which they did. femas money is taken from taxes to provide emergency management and disastter relief not to fill the church collection plate.

1. This appears to represent a political bribe to churches. |

There's no reason for federal funds to be given to churches for money they collected and supposedly distributed to hurricane victims, rather than going straight to the victims themselves.
Same reason Pat Robertson's charity used to appear second just under the Red Cross for hurricane donations on FEMA's website.
Same reason millions of dollars of FEMA money were distributed to people in Miami who hadn't been affected by hurricanes.
FEMA appears to be in the business of issuing bribes for political support to Republicans.
