Is CNN going to make any note of the recall margin narrowing?
This is weird, every few seconds, a percentage point more reports, and every time, the YES margin gets smaller! With Democratic counties left to report...just what might be happening here?

1. only 19% of precincts reporting
Edited on Tue Oct-07-03 11:22 PM by jenk
YES- 55
NO- 45

if it gets down to something like 53-47, then they have to make some sort of note, and drudge has to take down that landslide thing...

we can dream right? :)

2. That's what I'm saying...
...200,000 votes and it was about 500,000 when they called it with like 2% in.

8. Margin may be narrowing now...
Edited on Tue Oct-07-03 11:29 PM by Cicero
... but consider that, if it does get very narrow, all the absentee ballots out there may well widen the margin back out again. I believe that those who would take the time to get an absentee ballot are very likely motivated to support the recall.

Just my 2 cents...

Later,

On edit: changed beliebe to believe

3. I just noticed the numbers and was just thinking the same thing.
Why arent they saying anything about that?
Instead Wolfie and the other whores are grinning, smirking and ignoring the fact that the gap is closing! Only 19% are reporting and the absentees have not been counted.

It aint over yet!!

6. Beat me to it. Just p[osted the same thing Wolfie's a media whore and
and they run the exit polling.

Numbers are NOT nearly all in yet. I suppose the exit polls are accurate maybe but maybe not too.

Holding my breath

5. Remember, the heavily populated districts almost always get counted last
and they almost always lean heavily Democratic.

Think back to election 2000 when the big Democratic counties in Florida weren't coming in until well after midnight and they had to put the race back into the "too close to call" category.

15. Exactly.
LA is showing a 10% turnout out of 3 million registered voters, and zero precincts reporting.

Only 15% turnout statewide so far? Quite a bit more to go.

7. If this does turn out like election 2000...
Edited on Tue Oct-07-03 11:30 PM by robsul82
...I really hope Schwarzenegger makes his "victory" speech before the state goes back to too-close-to-call.

Margin's at about 230,000 now, DOWN a whole bunch still...

Edit: Excuse me, 19% in, 231,006. DOWN.

10. I turned that crap off after 10 minutes.
I got so sick of Wolfie's whoring (and it was obvious), when I saw on the bottom only 5% of the precincts reporting, I just couldn't stand it any more.

Once he called Herr Groper "Governor elect", I had it, and turned the channel back to NYPDBlue.:puke:
