Just another example of tolerant Christians

This article is a couple weeks old, but I find it interesting how the Christian right persecutes Christians that actually believe and live Jesus' words of tolerance.

Broadway favorite Kristin Chenoweth is finding out it's hard to be a gay icon who records Christian music.

The former "Wicked" star was just disinvited to November's Women of Faith conference in her native Oklahoma because she's a little too pally with the same-sexers.

"She has been asked to withdraw by due to her publicized and heartfelt beliefs that God is accepting of all people on earth," according to a statement on her Web site.

But yet, I've been told that Jesus doesn't tolerate sin!!

They seem to do Christian music concerts. Can't imagine that they don't have a gay lighting designer, or gay hairdresser somewhere on tour.

For what it's worth, Kristin is still listed as one of their performers. Boy, if they cast her out for being a gay icon, imagine what happened to Tammy Faye Bakker!
