I graduated from a tiny rural HS, 100 in my class....
and 10 of us were dead less than a year later.

No hurricanes, no nothing...just random crap.
Logging accidents, car wrecks, crazy psycho boyfriends...
the first girl I ever "held hands" with just DIED in her sleep
a month after graduation; some undetected heart problem or something.
She was really cool, man....

No Preacher or Therapist ever managed
to make this stuff make any sense to me,
so I sure can't give any advice to you.

Sorry I am so clueless about the important things.
I barely manage to get my head around the concept
of "shit happens", and I just drag my sorry ass
across the decades hoping I'll stumble across
some sort of understanding sooner or later.

Works OK for me...but you aren't nearly
as messed up in the head as I am.

Sorry, but that's the only image that comes to my mind when I think of what this administration did and still is doing to your city....They can blame it on Katrina, they can call Louisiana "dysfunctional" but the reality is this - they were the real disaster and more people died because of their failures, not because of Katrina...And now look what they are doing....

I heard today on the radio that FEMA cut a $230+ Million contract with Carnival Cruise Lines for "Victim/refugee housing", but meanwhile those ships and their cabins are sittin empty....hmmmm....:eyes:

The corruption is running rampant....people from the Gulf Coast are suffering and meanwhile the money allocated to FEMA is going straight to the pockets of the Bush Administration buddies....Uneffing believable... :grr:
