The message should be that no matter what the outcome of this indictment against DeLay, there is enough history on DeLay to warrant his departure from public office for good going all the way back to his days as an exterminator. And it's not only about a "culture of corruption" it's about "decades of deceit." From Ronald Reagan and the arms for hostages in Iran Contra, thrugh all the deceit of Poppy Bush's reign, and the deceit we all know that has taken place and is taking place right now under GW. Now the list is too long to catalogue the deceit from Reagan, Buash I, and II but the info is out there from tax cuts that were not tax cuts but tax shifting from the Reagan days to the deceit about the 'death tax' and social security reform to Plamegate, DSM, and Sibel Edmonds.
It's also about an "agenda against America" One that robs the working class to fill the coffers of the super rich, many of whom are citizens of other countries where their wealth is stashed and used against America in various deceitful ways so that they are in positions of no risk at all. An agenda that calls for fattening the wallets of corporate crooks and cronies from the government funds while at the sametime criticizing the use of government to help its people, rolling back the "entitelment" programs of the needy to fund the "entitilement" programs of the greedy.
Dems just can't let this be a focus on DeLay alone because the cronies in the courts cannot be trusted to exact justice on Bush cronies and neocons. It's now or never, Dems. It's now or never.
