Let's call the Davis campaign |
|
and tell him not to concede. Dems have got to stop being so whimpy, so quick to admit defeat. If he is out what does it matter when he concedes,he want get public office for a long time if ever anyway. List the phone # if you have it I am in GA but I will call.
I can't watch TV too mad. Where is Bustamante and McClintock in the numbers?

Aren't the relevant totals the ones about the recall itself (yes or no)? It doesn't matter what percentage voted for whom, it matters what percentage voted for and against the recall. Right?

the numbers for Schwarzenegger are important in showing how much of a mandate he has. If he gets higher % than voted no on recall then it's as if he really beat Davis and not just Davis lost against himself. It will influence whether we can recall him next.

2. I cant believe that he just conceded! |
|
If he really wanted to show his supporters, and the dems in general that he had any guts and fortitude he would have waited until tomorrow to concede. This is fuel for the repug argument that dems are soft and not unified. I'm disgusted in him!

4. Yeah I wish he would have held out |

Still only 30% in with LA sitting at .2% of precincts in.
Not sure about the other Dem strongholds.

7. Dem strongholds (and where are Alameda and LA?) |
|
Are carrying the water for the Dems... No in San Francisco has gone between 70 - 80 % No in Santa Cruz is 62.8 No in San Mateo is also low 60s No in Marin is 67.7 No in Sonoma is at 60. Even Santa Clara so far is majority No (a major shock to me) Since L.A. and Alameda have yet to weigh in, I'd say that they've very effectively shut down a large majority of the black vote in CA (which will be an interesting sidebar to the ACLU Lawsuit II)
