1. Gas jumped to $60 a litre
today in Jamaica. Guess we should be grateful because the state refinery absorbed 50% of the $8.00 a litre increase in prices from yesterday.

$240.00 a gallon?!

21. That depends on whether we're converting to
US gallon or British gallon. Let's say it cost a bag of money to buy gas and all costs are increasing as a result of increased gas prices.
I saw that 1 litre cost 123 yen just after Katrina.

gas is now 2.69 for a gallon of gas compared to last night when i filled up, a ten cent jump, no explanation for why, maybe jim bob the trucker in nowhere town died last night, and thats why it jumped up a dime.

14. I'd like to think people will remember the gas prices, but...
the public has a short memory. Nobody talks about Bill Bennett's breast reduction surgeries anymore. It'll all be old news by midterms.

16. By midterm elections gas will go down from $4.29 to $3.59 and
republicans will get credit because their energy policy is working.

22. The democrats should use Bill Bennett's breast reduction surgery
they should run with it, i can already see Howard Dean on Meet the Press discussing it.

18. It was still pegged at $2.69 this morning.
I'll have to check out the price on the way home. Thankfully I've got my new scooter licensed, insured and ready to go, rode it in this morning for the first time. It is absolutely wonderful. Cranks up to fifty five mph, and gets aprox. 100 mpg. It is a Bajaj Chetak, from India. Bajaj is the world wide leader in scooter sales, and they make a very good product.
