Sorry, I have to say it: Tom DeLay is the BIGGEST arrogant asshole ever.

I generally try to avoid namecalling, but I can't hold it in any longer. I've known for a long time Tom DeLay is no saint although the Right sure did paint him as one. But after three admonishments for ethics violations - after he fired those guys from the House ethics committee in order to divide it and make it virtually impossible for him to be nailed for his criminal behavior - and after seeing his generally slimy, slick, lying, wholly arrogant, divisive, partisan, mean, aggressive, sell-the-shirt-off-his-Grandma's-back demeanor, I cannot stand the sight of this man.

The Right had painted him as a Christian saint, but he is nothing more than a WOLF in sheep's clothing. The man really pisses me off and I would be perfectly happy to see him behind bars.

There. I said it. Thank you DU for letting me vent.

Let justice be done.

Mr. DeLay was defending Republicans' choice to borrow money and add to this year's expected $331 billion deficit to pay for Hurricane Katrina relief. Some Republicans have said Congress should make cuts in other areas, but Mr. DeLay said that doesn't seem possible.
