MORE bad news for NeoCons: Judge says Ashcroft and FBI must testify
A federal judge in Brooklyn ruled yesterday
that former Attorney General John Ashcroft,
the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation
and other top government officials will have to answer questions
under oath in a lawsuit that accuses them
of personally conspiring to violate the rights
of Muslim immigrants held in a federal detention center
in Brooklyn after 9/11.

5. Dare we hope that justice is on the way???
The best part:

The "qualified immunity" that shields government officials "will not allow the attorney general to carry out his national security functions wholly free from concern for his personal liability," Judge Gleeson wrote, quoting a Supreme Court decision that involved then-Attorney General John N. Mitchell's unauthorized wiretap of a radical group. "He may on occasion have to pause to consider whether a proposed course of action can be squared with the Constitution and laws of the United States."

Is it me, or did the good judge inject a little piece of sarcasm in there? LOL

9. LOL!
That IS a good one!

Yeah, I should think that the ATTORNEY GENERAL might want, once in a while, to obey the goddamn law.

26. Yeah, the same goddamn law that's his job to PROTECT.
I mean, I think he took an oath to that effect.

These people are really bottom-feeders.

6. Where'r my glasses?
I missed this in this morning's print version of the Times, or maybe it just wasn't there. In any case, this should have been on the front page, and picked up by ALL the MSM. I think it's very important that Ashcroft and his former syncophants be forced to explain just what the hell they were thinking when they decided to violate both the rule of law and the rule of man so blatantly.

And it certainly dovetails well with the final elements in phase one of PLAN X. I think it's time to complete the foundation for phase two. Victory will be ours!

7. Drip, drip, drip
The last six weeks have been a nightmare for ChimpCo. Every couple of days another brick falls out of the wall. And I think there are a lot more shoes to drop. Paging Mr. Fitzgerald, paging Patrick Fitzgerald.....
