How things change.

Now we'll be lucky to get Bush out of the White House.

And :wtf: is up with the Kennedy's all over the stage? I appreciate family loyalty, but why do they support this clown??

Thanks for trying, man. I got caught up in the fervor last week, as well... but it is becoming more and more evident what anybody left of center who cares about this country is up against.

edit: Headline of my newspaper --> "Arnold Recall Win Swipes Plame Story from Papers"

6. It's not that bad.
Imagine waking up tommorow to another blue sky and fresh air. Life is beautiful, Arnold isn't.

7. Shite
This is just perfect for Bush and Co. Just when all the shite hits the fan for them, arnie comes in and snatches it all away. And knowing the media, unless something else big happens, the focus is going to STAY away from that. We have to get the word out, let the public know what is going on. Just because the media is against us doesn't mean we have to take it. If we let people know what is really going on by word-of-mouth, then eventually there will be enough inertia to force the media to start reporting what is really going on.

9. It won't stop until the people in this country hit the streets in a big
way and force change. Nothing else will work. The system is broken and yet people keep feeding quarters into the machine.

I think this is a big plan to move power away from government and democracy as we have defined it...and the infrastructure that has supported it.
Corporations aren't interested in democracy.

11. Don't worry
Bush is in trouble with or without Cali. War, unemployment rate and the economy will continue to hurt his re-election.

12. That's My Take As Well, Coldwater
All the distractions in the past 33 months have only temporarily held the wolves at bay. Take a look at this week's approval numbers. They won't look any better than last week, despite the theft in Cali.

The Arnie story is NOT big in the beltway. The leak is everything. Watch Washington Journal. Look at the websites of the Times and Post in D.C. The heat is not off Li'l Georgie.

13. Right
What happened in CA is bad for Bush*. For one thing The Gropenator won't be able to squat about the underlying problems and the vote was a strong anti-encumbant vote thanks to the crappy economy etc.

14. Bad as it is
I don't believe this will have any affect on Washington. Ahh nold is not Bush. Arnie is more of a ugly mutant, and I don't believe most Californians connnect him with the Pugs. They have been handed a rotten deal, and they tried to recover from it the best way they thought they could. He has three years.....much as I hate the thought of Chiclet teeth (as one witty DU'er put it) being gov, the people of California have spoken.....right or wrong, good or bad they have to live with it.

Whether he is right or left I give him the benefit of the doubt, and for the people's sake I hope he serves them well. To be optimistic, perhaps the people of Cal will become dissenchanted enough with the conservatives during his upcoming year that we won't have to worry about the state during 2004.
