Just when things are looking their darkest the light comes back through. We may have lost this battle, we won't know for certain until tomorrow morning, but the war is just begun. Don't give up hope. Don't give in to despair. That is exactly what Arnold and Bush need to win in 2004. If we are so lost on hope and so convinced that we won't be able to make a difference, then we won't. If they break our hearts, they don't need to beat anything else. Don't give them that satisfaction. We may be down today, but we are NOT out of the fight just yet. Don't give up, don't give in to despair. We can come out on top yet again. We cannot just simply roll over and die because we have been beaten today. We have to stand back up, wipe the blood off of our chins, and stare the enemy straight in the eye and say, "I dare you to do that again!" No matter what they throw at us, we have to simply stand back up and show the GOP, show Arnold, show Bush and his cronies that we are not going to take it anymore. We must stand up to them and fight, no matter how long the odds may be, no matter how bleak the situation is, no matter how dark it may be. To give in would be what they want us to do. Don't give up hope. Don't give in to despair. Things may seem bad now, but they WILL get what is coming to them. I believe that they WILL get their karma back to them in spades, it may not have happened yet, but they will pay for what they have done. To make sure that happens though, we have to carry on the fight. The banner has been dropped. Who will pick it up off of the ground and carry it forward to the front? And who will take it up after that one falls? We must not give in, no surrender. Do not despair, for no matter how dark things may be, there is always the possibility of a better tomorrow to look forward to. We cannot get there unless we believe that it will come, lift ourselves up, get back on our horse, and carry on forward to that tomorrow. We won't have that better tomorrow if we give up on it today. Don't give in. I know that it may be hard, but don't give in, don't give up. We have to carry the fight on, we have to push forward to that tomorrow, to that bright shining star that is fixed on the horizon that we guide ourselves by. We have to carry on no matter how long the road is. We would not be here today if the Founding Fathers, or Abraham Lincoln, or the Big Three just threw in the towel and gave up. They trudged on no matter how bad things got because they were looking to that better tomorrow. We will get there, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not next week, but we will get there. I cannot promise you that it will be easy, it won't be. But the harder and longer the journey is, the more satisfying the arrival to the destination will be.
