1. indictments...
hopefully.

It seems that the grand jury was simply waiting on Miller's testimony and that once she give it this morning they'll be ready to wrap up their work.

Wrapping up SHOULD mean indictments.

2. So who told Scooter?

It was on Air Force 1, heading to Africa, that the people in the picture above decided to out a CIA operative. One of these people called Scooter and Karl and told them to 'go after' Wilson.

6. Dick Cheney requested the Niger report, Dick Cheney hung out at CIA
pressuring them to give the answers he wanted re WMD - Dick Cheney was named in Wilson's Op-Ed. My money's no Dick Cheney retiring for health reasons to his brand new estate, where he will run the govt in exile for his cronies.

9. Novak Intelligence Leak: All Roads Lead To Cheney
http://www.mikehersh.com/All_Roads_Lead_To_Cheney.shtml

By William Francis (PP)
Oct 18, 2003

Regarding the Wilson intelligence scandal: We need to realize that everything Bush, Novak, and McClellan are SAYING is absolutely true. But everything they're telling us is a lie. We have to remember to listen carefully to the exact words.

Novak originally said that the information about Wilson's wife came from, "two senior administration officials." this is true.

Novak also says that, "Nobody in the Bush administration called me to leak this." this is also true.

There is one man in the world who is BOTH a senior administration official, and does not release information from the administration (from the White House).

There is one man in the world who is a senior administration official, but is not officially (constitutionally) a member of the administration.

There is one man in the world who invested his reputation and resources in the Niger yellowcake story, more than any other.

There was one man in the world who knew of Wilson's trip to Niger as well as he knew about the identity of Wilson's wife.

In preparing his July 14 article, "Mission to Niger," there was one man in the world who Robert Novak would have contacted before any other.

The man's name is Dick Cheney.

4. ahhhhh so Marc Rich's legal counsel is involved, eh....
How interesting is this going to get?

Wonder if Marc will return the favor by moving some of his offshore money into Scooter's legal fund?

5. Something about this doesn't add up for me
Libby released Russert and others from the very beginning but wouldn't release Miller? Or the rather unbelievable statement that Libby was shocked, shocked to find that he was the source Miller was protecting? You can't tell me that Miller's lawyers didn't have some discussions with Libby's lawyers before she went into the stir. Personally I think it is all BS, that Libby found out that she was going to talk and all the stuff about releasing her or not knowing he was the protected source is damage control.

7. ya know
This is all beyond intriguing. The only thing that bothers me right now is that there is much speculation that only Libby will fall and that will be that.

I’ve gotta believe as a another poster stated on a different thread that Fitzgerald has tasted blood and that they are only going to make his job easier getting to some of the higher ups.

A guy can dream can’t he?

8. Libby released Miller
a year ago. The idea that she is finally talking because of him releasing her to is nonsense. Her attorney had hinted, about 2 or 3 weeks ago, that a deal was being finalized. It was, in large part, to avoid charges of criminal contempt of court.

It is important to think back to the Watergate era. At some point, every good attorney tells his/her client that they need to protect their own interests. This is what is happening with both Miller and Larry Franklin.
