Let's say a big prayer (or whatever you prefer) for Fitz
good thoughts, or the equivalent for Fitzgerald.

As whoopi said in ghost "you in danger, girl".

I am afraid that the Fitz thing might be getting our hopes up, only to be dashed if any of the following scenarios occur:

1. his untimely removal. I do not put this past Bushco. And you can interpret "removal" with extreme prejudice.
2. Irresistable political or personal pressure to prevent what all hope happens: indictments for top officials. Remember this currect crop of republicans make the Gotti family look like the Osmonds.
3. The distraction of proffering scapegoats willing to fall on their swords to protect higher ups (Libby the sacrifice, cheney, bolton and others the protected)
4. (related to #3), Deals being offered that will SEEM to be helpful to Fitz's investigation but will instead contain hidden feinted daggers.
5. People lying under oath to confuse the focus.
6. I find the releasing of Miller just odd enough to be worrisome...what is it really covering up for her to come clean?

that's just off the top of my head.

Folks, there are STILL too many cracks for this to fall through. Even the most honest men can be "gotten to".

therefore, I request all of us to pray, if so inclined, or beam your positive energies and thoughts towards Fitz at this crucial time.
Hope for him to be allowed to work unmolested and that the end results will be for justice, and not a compromise or leftovers. We NEED to have these perps outed and jailed.

thanks for your time.

1. #6 Bothers Me
#6 bothers me, not only for the timing (when our attention is focused on so many other areas) but because of the visitors she's had -- or, at least the ones we know about -- and wondering what kind of deal came down behind the bars.

I can't believe how suspicious I'm becoming in my old age! :(

2. I agree. Expecially that they are saying she had that release to
talk a year? ago. That doesn't make sense. If she was really confused about the release, then why didn't she clarify it months ago before sitting in jail so long?

To OP: I agree with all you said. I do feel better about him after reading an article from long ago and how he seems to put everything about his personal well being. (he was so involved in a case in Chicago that he never took the time to have the gas turned on in his apartment for months and month).

3. to clarify: not questioning his integrity...
When I said even and honest man can be "gotten to", I meant the whole pandora's box of ills, including things beyond his control. Even if he does his job correctly and honestly, the rug can still be pulled out from under him by unsavory elements with power.
