Supreme Court Cases That Have Affected Americans
I'm listening to this morning show on 99X and they're having a debate on what Supreme Court rulings have directly affected the average American in a negative way. Toucher is arguing with another host and he's saying by next week he'll have a whole list of stuff. The other guy thinks that the Supreme Court doesn't matter to the average person. Anyway, you can send him an e-mail at toucher@99x.com and give him some examples he can use. I honestly don't know specific examples of cases to send him.

2. Or on the positive side
Brown Vs. Board of Education.

I'm sure there are websites that have done this however. It's easy enough to look at some business case that gets decided against the American peple and not see a direct connection to our individual lives. But each such case makes us a little less safe in our workplaces, makes us a little less safe from faulty products, makes our environment a little (or a lot) worse, and so on and so forth.

5. Buck v. Bell, authored by Oliver Wendell Holmes
The Supreme Court legitimized state laws that allow the state to sterilize you without your consent. No, this is in America, not Hitlerland. And it's still in effect as the decision has not been overturned.
