When you go to war without the will of the people, you lost already.
Bush hoodwinked the gullible into going along with the logic for war in Iraq, hoping for a quick victory.

Their inability to keep a lid on the violence and their justifications for war, exposed for the lies they were, has cost them public support for war in Iraq.

And there is no getting that support back.

Iraq is a lost cause because it was not a just war.

They thought they could lie and get away with a quick victory nullifying the lies in the process.

It's over. Bring them home.
