1. I called Art Torres' office several months ago (he's the head

of the Democratic party here in CA to see what was being done. I was wanting to volunteer. They told me not to worrry, that the recall will "never" happen. I hold the disorganized and asleep powers that be totally responsible for not acting soon enough.
