as I recall he told someone in the press something about his beliefs why blacks made better athletes than whites. It destroyed his career. It was over on the spot. No more Sunday ESPN gig, whatever. He never really understood why what he said was wrong, but, yes, it was insensitive.

That might be the case. I haven't seen the numbers to say yea or nay.

If you mean the absolute count of incidents (as opposed to incidence) of white collar crime, then it's trivially true, and could be said of any race or group equally well.

There's been a rash of posts that don't distinguish between counts and rates recently, and I don't quite understand why this should be.
