Jerry Springer should run for Senate
what do you all think ? the last time i asked about this the complaints were mostly about how republicans could easily use the morals issue if he ran. but now with arnold that's going to be pretty hard to impossible to do ? i think Jerry should change his mind and get into the race. and Jerry can actually discuss policy and is a great speaker.

1. About Jerry......
Edited on Wed Oct-08-03 10:21 AM by PROGRESSIVE1
I WANTED him to run damnit!!! All I heard was that he's a "T.V Trash King"!!! Bullshit!!! Groper Boy activly promoted violence through his films and has a history of sexually harrasing women!

Unfortunatly this is Ohio!!! They had a very negative opinion of Mr. Springer!!! I DO NOT believe that they would vote for the Gropenator! Unfortunatly they did not want to vote for Jerry Either!!!!!!

I wonder if the REICH WINGERS will still attack Liberal Artists when they speak against the Bush Crime Family. I will just not buy the products of conservative "artists"!

2. When people think of Springer.............

I would guess most think of his talk show and all the trashiness etc...... but I read an interview he gave last year, where he discussed among other things, our political system, healthcare system, race relations etc....I must say I was impressed with his answers and analysis......had no idea how intelligent he actually is......I wish I had the link to the interview.........

3. i saw and heard many
that's the reason i want him to run. he really IS good on the issues and in presenting it. so when people see him he would have something to present that I KNOW he will be good at. this wasn't the case with arnold where they had to close him off from questions and political shows and debates. with jerry he WOULD AND SHOULD do it and would do a great job at it. i want others to see him as i have seen him.

5. yes, he is a liberal
so it would be hard for him to win in ohio, but it will be hard for us anyways no matter who runs .

6. He tried. Didn't make the numbers. Dropped out.
That's the short story. His TV career has done no good to his political career. Can you really blame the masses?

I agree though. Off-stage Jerry comes across as a very clear-thinking individual with an un-biased opinion. He would probably make a good senator.

Plus that, he could give us a daily summary on moral issues discussed in the House that day.
