Where do you get your news from?

I'm sick of sites like CNN. I'm looking for websites that has up to date news from a progressive/leftist point of view.........Basically, the TRUTH! Any suggestions?

the DU forum by that name is excellent.

Yahoo news is also very good, I'd recommend it over Google news, no contest.

3. Go to Buzzflash, for starters. . .then scroll to the bottom. . .

Scroll down to the bottom, and you'll see a shitload of websites for the major newspapers, TV stations, progressive magazines, and progressive journalists. Including some foreign outlets such as the BBC. You can have your pick.

Plus, if you click on CommonDreams at www.commondreams.org, you'll find even more websites with leftist/progressive viewpoints.

There is also the Working Assets site called Working for Change,
at www.workingforchange.org
For some reason, this is a stand-alone site, not linked to Buzzflash or CommonDreams. But there's a lot of good stuff there too.
