Problem’s with me being a (Liberal Indy) let my ignore button know
This has been ongoing since I have been here, very few wish to confront the ROOT cause of my and others discontent which I state in the following post. If you wish me not to bring up the bleeding of the Democratic party support among activists and environmentalists, let me know.

If you have a problem with an Indy who worked his but off to defeat the recall, who fatigues everyday to spread the truth about the Bush crime family, who multitasked holding a sigh, booing and flipping off the presidential motor cadge, who stood side by side with "Veterans for Peace" (great speech William). Then by all means Let me know.

If you have a problem please politely reply with your name and respected ignore buttons will bring us both emotional well being. I just wish Skinner and company would have been more accurate and clear by naming DU Democraticpartyunderground.

1. I have no problem with you working for the democratic party
I do have a problem with you spouting the same old disaffected third party bullshit as being the "problem with the democrats".
Go figure out why Greens and independents aren't winning races and solving problems. When you have that problem solved I might be interested in what you have to say about democrats.

3. Go figure out why Greens and independents aren't winning races
And how many races have the Democrats won lately? Don't cut off your nose to spite your face. We need Independents (of which I am one) and we need Greens also. We have a battle of monumental proportions on our hands and we don't need to alienate anybody that even slightly leans left. Listen to what they want and try to work with them. We are willing to work with you or even Leiberman if that is what it comes to. Granted some are unwilling to compromise but I think after Bush* nothing should be taken for granted.

2. I'm not sure why the angst against DU
I read part of the thread and it seems to me that you had a good discussion going there. I have seen this discussion before on DU. We co-exist, but mainly it is a democratic forum. Green Party afficionados are welcomed usually by all of us. Anyone who gets rowdy, however, is subject to censure. It's a great board. Do not take our name in vain. Do, post early and often. Also, you might give our moderators a break. They earn nothing for doing this, except for the kudos from members.

5. It's outsiders vs insiders.
I side with the outsiders. The present party elite has had their shot.
