I heard on the radio that thousands of people registered to vote after the recall was announced.

One woman at work told me that her two 18 and 19 year old daughters registered and voted for Arnold (she voted No). She said that when Davis raised tuition on credits in state schools while increasing the prison budget it really pissed off students. She said that a lot of their friends also registered just to vote on this one issue.
