Tom Delay's cousin
One of the nurses I work with (just started back at a hospital in Austin) asked me if I had heard about what was happening with Delay. I told her yes, and asked her whether she thought he should go down or not. She said he absolutely should go down and that he is a mean, mean man. Then she mentioned that she was family, his cousin. She said her aunt is his mother. I asked her what his mother thought of the situation. She answered cryptically, "They're estranged."

Man, he can't even garner support from his own family. Amusing. I think it's time for bugboy to hang up his fly swatter (used to be a hammer from what I heard).

1. Fascinating, though it doesn't surprise me tremendously...
I can't imagine anyone not knowing evil when they encounter it.

8. I actually hadn't heard that specifically
She didn't seem like she was telling a falsehood though, and this would bolster her case.

3. I had heard he was estranged from his family and his mother. It
must be terrible for them to have such a disappointment in the family, such a disgrace.

4. I am so disappointed...
when I saw "Tom Delay's cousin", I also expected to see "is his wife".

6. LOL!
Who would even want to get near that rat-bastard. Obviously, not even his mom. So what makes you think his cousin could handle it?

I don't know, but maybe all those pesticides made IT smaller, so she handles it quite well :)

9. If that had been the punchline
then I would have put it in the Lounge. ;)
