Whoa -- Christie Whitman slams * over Halliburton contract
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/gossip/story/124927p-112082c.html

scroll down to: Well-chosen words?

Christie Todd Whitman freely slams former boss President Bush for giving a $1 billion contract to Halliburton - headed by Vice President Cheney from 1995 to 2000 - to fix Iraqi oil wells.

"That was dumb," Whitman tells Nancy Collins in the November Harper's Bazaar. "Why in God's name you let that happen? Halliburton may be the best people to do the job, but you have to bid it, because it just looks terrible."

As for her political future, the former head of the EPA says an ambassadorship might be in the cards: "The President asked me to stay loose." After these comments, that could be quite a while.

1. Day late, dollar short
After presiding for years over the dismantling of environmental protections in place for decades, and lying - LYING - through her teeth about Ground Zero air quality, I pretty much don't give a shit about anything this corporate ho might have to say.

Fuck off, Christie.

4. Amen!
Don't think that's what "stay loose" means Christie.

Fuck off again, Christie!

2. Notice how the "liberal" media is all over this story
:eyes:

I swear when Hilary said "vast RW conspiracy" the pukes did the right thing and called her crazy. She was right, of course, but they countered correctly by labeling her as nuts. It worked.

I want to know who the moronin the democratic party was that didn't run the same play when the RWers started saying "the liberal media bias". It's obvious BS but they have managed to convince half the country.

3. Christie is going to find that even a small disloyalty against BushCo.
is punished. She won't see any ambassadorship, unless it's to some small obscure island in the Pacific that still doesn't have electricity.
