Questions for all you Constitutional Scholars |

I understand that a president needs 271 Electoral Votes in order to win. However, what if each canidate received 269 Electoral Votes each? This could happen if the Democratic canidate picked up New Hampshire and West Virginia and Republicans won all the Red States they won last election (minus West Virginia and New Hampshire).

1. Election goes to the House of Representatives in that case. |
