Ehrlich's Wife's Statement About Brittany--Question
If now some crazy person hurts Brittany Spears now, and atttributes it to what Ehlrich's wife said, could she be held responsible for inciting the attack? Could Brittany's family sue her?

1. But Brittany said we should never question our leaders
so please don't ask any questions.

2. Ok
But seriously could her family sue if something bad happens to her?

3. It depends. If there were an attempt within a short period of time after
the statement was made by Ehrlich's wife, then probably. But if an attempt took place after things "cooled down", then probably not. It depends upon the choice of words, how they were expressed, and the proverbial "heat of the moment".

Ehrlich's wife expressed a reckless opinion in a modulated voice and was not a rallying cry at the top of her lungs to go after Brittany Spears. I don't think that her words by themselves would carry her to a prosecution if someone acted on her statement.

4. Ok
I just was wondering if she would be subject to any legal action if something bad did happen.

5. If there's money to get , sure
the only thing that drives lawsuits is a big pile of money to go after, and Erlich must have one.
