These would be Democrats who have no humanity about them, who need to be taken out back, shot, and put out of their misery while those of us who ARE human cry about the terminal disease that some Dems have contracted.
I just spent 1:30 of my life watching the CNN Democratic Debate. In that time, I saw about 3 demonstrations of people proving that they are actual humans and not aliens or robots with laser eyes.
1) Clark and Kucinich demonstrating concern for soldiers. 2) Edwards dealing with the disabled woman. 3) Sharpton being Sharpton the whole time, especially when dealing with the Native American guy.
The rest of the candidates looked out at the audience and saw...votes? cow flesh? an anomaly in the Matrix, perhaps?
One woman asked about the economy in her native Spain. The candidates should have answered her question. The least they could do would be to laugh in her face. Instead, they went into their prescription plan preprogramming.
Another asked about the role of unions in the next administration, and did not get addressed as the person that he was. Instead, a candidate, who we'll call Mieberlan to protect his identity, tried to lecture him on the great idea of "middle class" and how Super it was.
Probably the best of these gems was when the small businesswoman asked about her taxes and Gephardt went off on his health care plan. Or when Dean was asked about health care for seniors and talked about his cigarette tax. (which he then referred to as "the precious." Ok, I made that up.)
So the question remains: can any of these candidates be human more than once every 90 minutes? Or shall we shoot them all and start over again?
