I know where the WMD's are, the late news told me last night
Just before I went to bed, according to the local kansas city news channel I was watching said that before the invasion large convoys were reported as going from Iraq into Syria.
In my opinion we should now institute a draft, rebuild our stash of cruise missiles and go after Syria, NOT!!!
If anyone believes anything coming from this bunch of knuckle dragging cretins, I've got a swell beach right outside my front door I'll let go cheap.
They told us they new exactly where the weapons were. They told us we were in grave and immanent danger, that they could rain this crap down in 45 minutes.
Now, they expect me to believe that the wmd's were sent into Syria, I wouldn't believe these assholes if they told me the sun was shining at high noon.

1. The most devastating WMDs in Iraq
are the ones we sold them in the 80s.

I firmly beleive that!

2. This is the most ridiculous argument...
...that Saddam builds up all these WMDs (one would assume as a deterrent) and when he is under attack, and there is NO doubt what Bush wants to do to his regime, moves them to another country, leaving Iraq devoid of any weapons for defence?!!!!

Bush also told us that the 'madman' Saddam wanted to infilct enormous casualties on the US, but in the same breath they want us to believe that the only time American troops are close enough to inflict those casualties, he hides the weapons away, and allows US troops to take over Iraq unmolested?

What sort of evil genus is this Saddam dude? Or could it be - that Bush is lying, hmmmm?

4. Non-military leader
Maybe the reason Saddam "allowed" the U.S. to take over his country is because he is no military leader.

5. uh-huh - that must be it.
You can't have it both ways.

Saddam is/was one of the worst military leaders of all time. Granted. Question still remains - were are the WMD?

Moved to Syria?

With more US and UK military surveillance than any other corner of the earth?
Hourly satellite flyovers.
250,000 sorties Uk and US (blowing the shit up of anything that moves).

Yet Saddam, who IS one of the worst military leaders of all time manages to 'sneak' out (as per Powell's UN claims):
- hundreds of thousands of warheads
- tonnes of biological and chemical material and precursors
- an entire fleet of unmanned drones
- Mig 29s with specialy modified spray tanks
- nuclear centrifugues
Not to mention the entire WMD infrastructure required to maintain and build the above.

And all under US and UK noses?

And the fact remains the Iraqi army did NOT use WMD. Even his commanders (who we were told were authorized to use chemicals) later stated that if they had them, they would have used them in the defence of Iraq.

The claims of WMD in Syria does not pass the sniff test. Oooh wait a minute - Sharon's rattling HIS sabre at Syria. Wonder if there's a connection?

Nah - just another conindky-dinky.

You have to start feeling somewhat bad for these repubs who go on TV for Bush and look so damn stupid trying to explain away Bush's lies. They know they are lieing and so does everyone else for that matter but what else politically can they do?

6. The Kay Report just ruled this out...don't newspeople read...
Edited on Fri Oct-10-03 10:32 AM by sinkingfeeling
what they report on? This was just last week!! I'd call the station and ask them to explain the contradiction.

"And Kay's team has found no evidence that Iraq shipped illegal weapons out of the country — to Syria, for example — to avoid detection by U.N. inspectors, as some administration officials suggested earlier this year" ____ USA Today
