Is Iraq the bull we are holding on to by the horns and can't let go of?
Edited on Fri Oct-10-03 08:27 AM by NNN0LHI
That is the impression I am getting after listening to the debate last night. All of the candidates except for Kucinich seem to hold this belief. Is this really what 8 of the 9 candidate all think? Or is this what has to be said to have any hope of getting elected? I am confused because if you stop and think about it, except for some cosmetic differences their position on Iraq is no different than Juniors. Am I wrong here?

1. It's more like an arrow we shot ourselves with...
...and you have to be careful about how you pull it out so it doesn't cause more damage.

2. Kucinich, who has no chance, is able to speak more freely...
than the others. The US has to get out and the UN in.

4. To be fair
Kucinich wouldn't temper his views if the other nine were swallowed by a sinkhole and he was alone in the race. He's not incautious because he's at the bottom of the pack, he means what he says.

Riding the back of the tiger.
If we fall off we are lunch.

The tar-baby.
We have grabbed aholt of something we can't let go of.
