Freeper roomie caught in his own web of lies, gets in a huff
So I asked my roomie why in his editorial he mentioned Saddam having VX gas but didn't mention where he got it from. It went like this.

"Hey, I just wanted to know...why didn't you mention where Saddam got the VX from"
"We sold it to him."
"Yeah-"
"Dude! What the f**k! You know I don't appreciate this! This is dick!"

By the way, I had put on his screen an article about us selling Saddam VX. Thought he may want to read it. In retrospect it was dick, but hey, he always asks for sources...

"So why didn't you mention it?"
"For a perfectly good f*****g reason."

I elected to just back off instead of stating the obvious, ie, "Because it shoots your argument in the head?"

5. It was random
It's simple; he pulled an O'Reilly.

Hey, I get along with him other than his politics and constant flatulations.

He also attacked me for trying to bring down something he "worked so long and so hard on," which is true, he DOES spend DAYS doing this.

Doesn't change the fact that he's wrong.

10. What is his email address?
That way, we can ask him why he didn't mention where they got the Vx from.

Also, we can all begin the letters with something like "You might think this is dick, but..."

11. As much as I'd like that....
Edited on Fri Oct-10-03 11:49 AM by zls44
I don't wanna get punched in the face (starting with "you may think this is dick, but"), and I also don't wanna give out his email, but it IS public knowledge.

Just go to the UConn phone book and type in his name.

8. I didnt want to
I felt bad about doing it to him in between classes, and also he's far more muscular than me and has a history of physical confrontation.

I'll let the en masse of letters to the editor do the rest.

Remember...it isnt smear tactics if its FACT!

Another irony...he mentioned commondreams.org as an inaccurate site and liberally biased a few weeks ago...and now uses it as a source.

...bizarro-world generalization on DU. Doesn't feel like fighting with roommate; therefore, spineless Democrat. Hey, monkeyboy, whatever helps you sleep at night.

13. The irony of the headline...
Edited on Fri Oct-10-03 12:00 PM by zls44
...is that he doesn't type it. So immediatly, his editor makes him look bigoted.

You know what else is ironic? The editor is president of the UConn Repubs. Yeah, I know, conflict of interest?
