2. I believe I heard 93 just this morning.

on edit: I'm not sure if that figure referred solely to U.S. troops or included all combat fatalities. I had the TV on for background noise.

6. That must have been a mainstream media source
They only report "in combat" deaths.

7. I'll bet you're right.
The figures you cite in reply #1 sound closer to the fact to me.

4. Even one death would have been too much.

8. But over 1,600 have been injured since the war started. That's pretty bad
and they don't want people to know it, but it's getting out there.

9. That must only be direct combat injuries
the other night german TV showed a report that over 6000 casualties had passed through Landstuhl alone.

Several hundred were said to have missing limbs.

12. The Guardian mentioned the 6,000 too
Back on September 14. The number would be even higher now.

10. Here's a nice graph for tracking Iraq war stats
Needs to be updated but it's a nice visual. Check out the cost of the war that keeps adding as you watch it, below the graph:

11. More than before that stunt
The tipping point was met this last week, and the media dutifully ignored it.

More soldiers have been killed in Iraq since Captain Unelected the Poseur Prince, Bush the Stunted, did his tennis-balls-in-the-pants stunt than were killed in the actual "invasion."

Way to go, Bush!
